Joe Biden has appointed Anjali Chaturvedi as General Adviser in the Veterans Affairs Department

The famous American-American legislator Anjali Chaturvedi has been appointed by US President Joe Biden as the General Adviser in the Department of Veterans Affairs, new to the region to be nominated for a key position in the administration.

Ms Chaturvedi is the Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the U.S. Department of Justice, according to the White House website.

Ms Chaturvedi has been nominated for General Counsel, US Department of Veterans Affairs.

The department’s primary mission is to provide veterans with the opportunities and world class services they have gained – and to do so by adhering to the highest levels of compassion, commitment, excellence, professionalism, stability, accountability , and stewardship.

During her career, Ms Chaturvedi has worked in all three branches of government and in private practice. Prior to returning to government service, Ms Chaturvedi was Assistant General Manager and Director of Investigations for Northrop Grumman Corporation, leading the company’s global research team.

Ms Chaturvedi has previously worked as an Assistant General Assistant in the United Kingdom and as a staff member at Nixon Peabody’s Washington, DC. Prior to entering the private practice, he was a government prosecutor.

During his time in the Department of Justice, he served both in the DISTRICT of Columbia and the Northern District of California. on the Senate Judiciary Committee. He began legal work for Gregory E. Mize of the District Court of Columbia. Ms Chaturvedi also advocates criminal investigation and prosecution as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University and Hastings College of Law.

Born in Cortland, New York, Ms Chaturvedi was a first-generation American.

He is a graduate of Georgetown University Law School and Cornell University. He is also a certified yoga teacher and leadership instructor. She lives in Chevy Chase, MD with her husband and son.

On Tuesday, US-American scientist Dr Arti Prabhakar was appointed by Biden as a senior scientific adviser to the US President, a decision hailed by the White House and the Indian-American community as “historic.” Last week, Biden nominated U.S.-American national security adviser Radha Iyengar to the top Pentagon.

U.S. President Biden is set to nominate Indian-American diplomat Gautam Rana as the new U.S. Ambassador and Chief to Slovakia, the White House said in a statement last month.

Biden nominated Indian-American envoy Rachna Sachdeva Korhonen as her envoy to Mali in April, the third such-American-American nomination in a month.

In March, President Biden nominated two Indian-American citizens as U.S. officials. He appointed diplomat Puneet Talwar as the country’s ambassador to Morocco and political activist Shefali Razdan Duggal as his ambassador to the Netherlands.
