I feel forever changed but I want to use this for good. I know that even in our dark hours we can still be a light to others, ”Sarah told Metro UK.
Her decision was fully supported by her husband Lewis and her three children. Her children even said “Good job, Mom” when they came to know where the milk was going. Although Lewis initially worried that drinking milk would be an emotional tax on his wife, he soon realized that it was in his best interests.
Milk donations have helped mothers who have lost their babies during childbirth and those who have given birth prematurely. “I have met many mothers who donate because they do not want their children to be forgotten. It gave me a lot of encouragement and motivated me to keep going, ”Sarah says.
