Metro services on yellow line to be suspended on Sunday, details here | Mobility News

Government officials said that due to planned maintenance work on the ride, Delhi Metro services in one part of the busy Yellow Line will not be available for the first few hours on Sunday.

Due to maintenance work at Rajiv Chowk station, only part of it will be between Rajiv Chowk metro station and Kashmere Gate.

“To perform the music maintenance service organized at the Rajiv Chowk metro station of the Yellow Line, train services on Sunday morning on this corridor will be a brief process,” the staff said.

Training activities will stop between Kashmere Gate and Rajiv Chowk stations from the beginning of operations until 6:30 AM.

“Therefore, the three metro stations, Chandni Chowk, Chawri Bazar and New Delhi, will be closed until the re-launch of train services at iE, around 6:30 AM,” they said.

Yellow Line connects Samyapur Badli in Delhi to HUDA Center in Gurgaon. “Metro services will be available between Rajiv Chowk and Kashmere Gate via Violet Line. Trains can change trains at Central Secretariat and Mandi House and reach Kashmere Gate via Violet Line”, DMRC said.

“In the remaining parts of the Yellow Line, iE, from Samaypur Badli to Kashmere Gate, and Rajiv Chowk to HUDA City Center, train services will continue to be in accordance with the regular Sunday schedule this season”, staff said.
