Malaysia MP Caught e-Shopping in Parliament; Later Says, ‘It was Just an Ad’

A Malaysian lawmaker was arrested online inside the parliament building. The leader of an opposition party shared a picture of the member. On March 28, former MP Wei Choo Keong posted a photo of Ghazi Buta on Twitter. In the photo, we see Buta looking at the pants and top on her laptop. Ghazi Buta was accused of receiving bribes but did nothing. A former senator also wrote that now the Senate has become a race.

As soon as the picture came out online, it went viral. The photo is also shared on Facebook. The photo also caught the attention of former Prime Minister Najib Razak. He also shared the post, saying he could see an increase in the cost of things due to his government.

The photo angered the legislature, which was forced to make a statement.

The MP’s sister said that only one horn had an ad displayed on her laptop. He’s just doing his job. But then the ad for a shopping cart opens up on your laptop. He said someone took a split photo, showing it in a bad light.

When he hit those who shared the pictures, he wrote that they had nothing to say against the government, so they were making statements out of these little things.
