ITBP Commandant Does Push-ups at 17,500 feet in Harsh Ladakh Winter

The Indian Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has shared a video of a 55-year-old worker, Ratan Singh Sonal, doing push-ups in extreme weather conditions.

The military did everything possible to protect our country. For them, age and stressful situations are not important, the only thing that matters is the security of the country. Every day, we witness the stories of the bravery and dedication of our soldiers which we keep sanctified at all times. Thus, another video is circulating on the internet which shows that nothing can stop these brave soldiers from achieving unbelief on a daily basis. The Indian Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has shared a video of a 55-year-old worker, Ratan Singh Sonal, doing push-ups in extreme weather conditions. While sharing the video on Twitter, ITBP wrote, “55-year-old ITBP leader Ratan Singh Sonal completed 65 push-ups at a time at -30 degrees Celsius in Ladakh at an altitude of 17 thousand 500 feet.”

In the video, we can see a soldier wearing winter clothes and making push-ups only on polished ground. The smiling soldier can be seen throughout the video. Within an hour of posting, the video had received more than a thousand views. People salute the tough guy for a regular stand at such a low temperature and beating the temperature like a pro. One user wrote that age was not a bar for exercise and hard work while others praised the soldier.

However, this is not the first time ITBP has been hit by bad weather. Earlier, another video of ITBP was posted on the internet where a group of soldiers were seen making their way through knee-jerk snow in the Uttarakhand Himalayas.

The video message, ITBP gives a message that when going hard, tough will go. Further, they mentioned about the Himveers’ struggle to cross the snow-covered area at 15,000 feet below zero-zero. Indeed video makes us want to stand up and greet the heroes of the country, fighting for our security in unimaginable situations even.
