Indian man in US found injured in SUV, dies at hospital -by Ecork

Baltimore Police have launched an investigation into the murder following the man’s death.

Washington:

A 25-year-old Indian man who was found injured in a sports car after standing with a gunshot wound to his head has died, according to state authorities. US of Maryland.

A man named Sai Charan Nakka, 25, was found injured with an apparent gunshot wound in a silver Hyundai Tucson SUV, wmar2news.com reported on Monday.

At around 4:30 a.m. Monday, Maryland Transportation Police were called to a car crash south of Interstate 95 near the exit of Caton Avenue.

Nakka was rushed to the University of Maryland R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, where he died a short time later, the report said.

Baltimore police have launched a murder investigation following Nakka’s death, he added.

Additional details about the incident were not immediately available.

Gun violence is a major cause of premature death in the US.

Guns kill more than 38,000 people and cause 85,000 injuries each year, according to the U.S. National Institutes of Health.
