Former Punjab Congress Speaker Sunil Jakkar resigns from the party after disciplinary notice -by Ecork

Chandigarh:
Sunil Jakkar, the leader of the Congress party and the former head of its Punjab unit, resigned from the party today, weeks after he issued a notice of offer from the leadership over his criticism of former Prime Minister Charanjit Singh Chani.
“Goodbye and good luck, Congress,” Jacquard said in a Facebook Live video after stinging criticism of his former party colleagues who spearheaded the proceedings against him.
His comments come as the Congress leadership is meeting in Udaipur in a desperate bid to put their house in order to counter the BJP.
