Here is a step-by-step guide to updating your mobile number and email ID in your EPF account:

Step 1: Log in to your account on the Sewa Group site by entering your UAN and password.

Step 2: Select the ‘Contact Details’ option from the ‘Manage’ section.

Step 3: When you select the ‘Contacts’ option, the most recent mobile number and email address will appear on your screen.

Step 4: Select the option you want to change, such as your phone number or email address. Once you have made the selection, you will be prompted to provide your new mobile phone number and email address.

Step 5: After entering the update information, click ‘Receive Command PIN.’ A four-digit PIN will give you a new mobile number and / or email address.

Step 6: After entering the PIN, click ‘Save Changes.’

Your EPF account will be updated as a result of the changes.

However, if this is your first time logging in to your EPF account via the member login portal, here’s how to register your email address and mobile number:

Step 1: Visit the Sewa Group Portal and select ‘Activate UAN.’

Step 2: Enter your UAN, Aadhaar number, and date of birth on the screen. These details should be the same as those found in the EPFO ​​records. Enter the mobile phone number associated with Aadhaar according to UIDAI records.

Step 3: Fill in the Captcha code. For UAN deployment, you will need to give your contract to exchange information as they are with Aadhaar.

Step 4: Select ‘Get Authorized PIN’. Your mobile number will receive a four-digit OTP.

The password will be provided to your mobile number after the UAN is activated.
