Cristiano Ronaldo’s Bugatti Veyron after crash in Majorca, Spain.
Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo Super-car Bugatti Veyron suffered a major accident on Monday in the Spanish city of Majorca. The car, valued at around $ 2.1 million, was transported in a blue tarpaulin after the crash.
According to Latin Times, Mr Ronaldo’s sports car smashes into the door of a country house and a butane bottle tent. Preliminary reports have confirmed that the football player was in the car at the time of the accident and not Mr Ronaldo.
The driver said he lost control of the vehicle and entered a wall in the residential area of Sa Coma, Bunyola, Palma de Majorca, where Mr Ronaldo is currently on holiday with his family. The front of the multi-million dollar supercar is said to be damaged. Investigators have confirmed that no other vehicle was involved in the crash and that the driver was not injured.
Currently, police traffic services are investigating the accident.
This comes after a US district judge in Las Vegas filed a rape lawsuit against a football fan, citing the legal side behind the complaint. According to reports, Judge Jennifer Dorsey filed a lawsuit against Nevada’s Kathryn Mayorga alleging that a Portuguese soccer star hit her in a Las Vegas hotel room in 2009.
Ms Mayorga had said that Mr Ronaldo had paid $ 375,000 in arrears at the time, however, in his case, there was further payment stating that a traumatic injury at the time did not allow him to participate in the mediation process.
But in a verdict released earlier this month, the judge accused Ms Mayorga’s lawyers of “misuse and negligence of due process” and said that as a result, Ms Mayroga lost her life to pursue the case.
