Shares of Asian Paints increased more than 3 percent on Tuesday ahead of the fourth quarter (Q4) for the 2021-22 (FY22) fiscal year later in the day. The stock hit a one-day high of Rs 3,109 on the BSE index, climbing 3.30 per cent in early trading.
At 12:29 p.m., Asian Paints were 2.12 per cent to Rs 3,073.50 on the BSE bench.
On the NSE, the stock is trading 2.27 per cent higher at Rs 3,073.50.
Analysts expect the company, the largest supplier of paintings in the country, to post profit in the March quarter, driven by gains in market share and price hikes in the past few months. .
