  8. A total of 72 GHz (gigahertz) of radio waves worth at least Rs 4.3 crore were installed on the block. Auctions are held for spectrum in the low range (600 MHz, 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2300 MHz, 2500 MHz), medium (3300 MHz) and high (26 GHz) frequency range.

Meanwhile, sources said the minister will also hold a meeting with PE funds, VCs, investors, and banks in Mumbai on Saturday to understand their views and concerns and discuss the development path of the telecom sector. Sources added that the move comes at a time when the government is drafting a new legal framework for the sector.
